We had a warm welcome at reception at Das Hotel Krone. The whole place has a recently refurbished look but still retains a charming period feel. The big windows in our room provided a light and airy atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast, which allowed us to start our day at a leisurely pace. The hotel's location on the pedestrian zone of the Hauptstrasse was a major plus, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options around. Königswinter is a pleasant town on the Rhine, and we appreciated the hotel's proximity to the river. We also had a great experience at the bar on a boat, and the meal there was enjoyable. The staff at Das Hotel Krone was exemplary, with their friendliness and humor making our stay even more delightful.

Stayed in a hotel that dates back to the 17th century - felt like I was in a time warp! The Michelin Star restaurant was a treat, and free wifi kept me connected.

Couldn't find a time machine in the room, but I guess that's just a minor inconvenience.

The bathroom was spotlessly clean - I couldn't find a single fault! the breakfast was amazing, with great quality food at a reasonable price. the location was perfect, just a short drive away from the famous Drachenburg Schloss and Drachenfels. Plus, the parking was conveniently located just around the corner.

The WiFi was a major disappointment. It didn't work at all on the 1st and 2nd floors, forcing me to use it only in the reception area.
